<p>It may not be applicable with your O-235, but in some cases you can use a ratchet with a joint ("flex handle") to allow you to clear some obstructions.</p>

<p>I tried this but my O-235 engine, magnetos, wiring and primer tubing will not allow me to rotate the ratchet in either direction. I would have had to pull a magneto, and disassemble a whole bunch of wiring to use this method and - I wasn't going there.</p>

<p>Simply use a 1/2" drive ratchet wrench. I would love to charge $400 for it but most tool boxes have one in stock. Insert the 1/2" drive end in the round pipe the tube that the bungee loops over. Slip the bungee over the rear bungee mount pipe (bracket) and then over the end of the ratchet handle. Simply raise the ratchet handle and it will slide down the handle over…</p>
