I bought a 4.5" rotary cutoff today, can anyone recommend the right type of disc for cutting canopy plastic?
thanks!

I used a "thin" abrasive cut-off disc and it worked well. I think one of the most important tips is to put a padded weight alongside the cut (I used a piece of 2x2  steel "L" angle that I padded) to keep the acrylic forced against the padded edge of the work table. This prevents "chattering" as you cut which prevents "shattering!"  ;>)
