O-235 cowling instalation

I have purchased the stock o-235 Lycoming kalling for my 750 stol. At this point I'm having some difficulty getting it installed because it doesn't appear to be as long as it needs to be to get it to fit properly particularly the lower cowling. I would appreciate any advice I can get when it comes to installing this. My number is area code 937-266-3360. Any pictures or a phone call with some advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the advice. I have already modified the lower cowling and have it installed as well as the top it definitely took some manipulation and some cutting I still have to patch the v-notch that I put in the bottom to bring the halves together closer. It would appear that whoever designed the cowling had never installed one on a no 235 or they certainly would have built it differently! All I have to complete the aircraft now is the firewall forward and it's nearly complete. Unfortunately I can't find a hanger anywhere around here. I have been on two different waiting list for more than 2 years!
