So, let's make a plan flying in the North Cascades and enjoying the pros & cons of a high-lift wing pulled along by a ULpower 350iS.
I have interest in doing a similar program, starting with Young Eagle type free flights and leading to using an LSA for training. Sold my LSA a while back and not yet back into a second aircraft. Now waiting to see what happens with the anticipated loosening of rules which may allow more professional build assistance. At least that is the rumour.
I am trying to set up a flight simulation program for the high school Air Force Junior ROTC kids here. There are about 700 kids in the program now. Not easy, when it should be. At least from my perspective. But then I am a possibility thinker at heart.
Could you describe your experience and how you were able to get the LODA. What hurdles were crossed? Any limitations that are required on flights and / or training done? Logging of hours. Solo flights etc.

In many ways yes. The LODA allows for transition training for folks flying any high-wing Zenith, or "STOL" plane. We should talk nore details to see if it makes sense for you. Specifically what your insureance may specify.
