Putting a different motor on my 601. Selling the original FWF with motor, prop, cowling, mount, exhaust, etc. The airplane was flying but has been inactive for several years. I started the motor yesterday and ran it for a very short time. It started in less than 2 seconds. The last logbook entry shows 61 hours. I'm sure it was flown very little, if at all, after that entry.

As is where is with no warranty. I know very little about Jabirus. The buyer needs to do their homework and bring the engine and installation up to current airworthy standards.

Asking $6500. You’ll have to pick it up. I’ll mount it on a stout stand suitable for transport in the back of a truck.

Location: 3F9 in Mineola, TX, 100 miles east of Dallas.

You can contact me at 903-423-0054. If I don’t answer please leave a message and I’ll call you back. Or you can text. Or you can email kevinpurtee@gmail.com. I’ve got more pictures and the video of the engine running.

Thanks,

Kevin

If you don't mind my asking, why a new engine?

Hi Bob - I’ve got a strong O-235 in the hangar. Looking for the tractor-like durability that option gives.
