<p>We fly without a cowl often - especially when testing new things etc. this allows us to get more done. You will have more drag obviously as the air is hitting the firewall, but its a slow plane anyway....as long as all your wires are tied up correctly - there isn't an issue with it, not really a big deal if it rains, but obviously avoid it because it should be VFR for the most part anyway, you'll also find out that parts of the aircraft itself will leak..The fuel burn is incredibly low, your…</p>
