I am just about done with my 701 and have a 912S Rotax with the warp drive 3-blade prop that I believe is 70 in. Am wondering what is the best pitch for cruise?. I seem to remember hearing that best cruise pitch was 16 degrees. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thomas,

We had the same setup and wound up with 11 degrees pitch on our prop. We had no problem reaching 110 mph at 5800 rpm. Climb out was great too.

If I remember correctly, the guy at Warp suggested starting at 13 and adjusting from there. We started with 13 degrees, but liked 11 better.

Thanks for the input.

yes ,flatten it out and have fun.
you not going to go anywhere fast in the 701 anyway
Interesting, are these measurements taken at 200mm from the hub?

Thanks!

Rudi
