They have some very good info and are pushing AQP for General aviation the cut the accident rate.
I've enjoyed Flight Chops videos for years. I think he does a good job covering the many different areas of General Aviation, with a focus on safety and training, while still keeping it entertaining with high production quality.
This was interesting and informative. I have two take-aways for me.
1. DMMS. Defined minimum maneuvering speed. I will be marking my airspeed indicator with this number.
2. "Get light in seat in stall recovery". It's not the way I was taught, but it makes a lot more sense.
Here's another video covering the same topic in a slightly different way.
Thank for the post!
The link you posted is for one of the AQP videos from Aviation101 (Josh Flowers) for his series with Dan Gryder. Flight Chops videos with Dan are at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vlNtDWE0f8 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_tKShlf_gU as well as Blancolirio (Juan Brown) is working on a series with him too (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtlBtnIo_yA).
All are an excellent set of resources for improving your flying skills.
I know. The reason I posted the Aviation 101 video is because it expands on the subject matter that I referred to. It is described in the Flight Chops video but the Aviation 101 vid goes into more detail.
I looked down too far and saw the Flight chops link. Flight Chops is now posting his Float checkout.
Very good video, thank you for posting this up.
