I am near to making a decision to part out N601GE. Information on it may be found at http://eaa1265.org/N601GE.html. I have lost access to a second hangar and trying to keep and maintain both planes in one hangar is not pleasant. Please note decision is not final but probably will be made by end of year or shortly thereafter. N601GE has been for sale for about a year and although there has been…

I have lost access to a second hangar and trying to keep and maintain both planes in one hangar is not pleasant. Please note decision is not final but probably will be made by end of year or shortly thereafter. N601GE has been for sale for about a year and although there has been much interest, it seems cost of insurance and the required dual with a well qualified instructor has been nearly insurmountable. Please do not ask about availability of parts until you have read the above web site.
Seattle Avionics Merlin Stratux ADS-B "IN"-SOLDtag:zenith.aero,2018-09-12:2606393:Topic:6453212018-09-12T23:59:55.825ZMatt Millerhttps://zenith.aero/profile/MattMiller

This Seattle Avionics "Merlin" ADS-B dual b and receiver has only 40 hours of use. I used it with my iPad running Seattle Avionics FLY Q. It now has the latest operating software installed, with a new chip from Stratux. This was NOT a kit. It was ready to run from Seattle Avionics.

It's now time for me to install ADS-B out. The unit I selected has both in and out. I no longer need the Merlin unit. Works with most tablets, and EFB programs. Go to " Merlin Stratux" or something…

It's now time for me to install ADS-B out. The unit I selected has both in and out. I no longer need the Merlin unit. Works with most tablets, and EFB programs. Go to " Merlin Stratux" or something like that to see just how many units it works with. This box contains WASS GPS, AHARS, TRACKING, and of course, Dual Band ADS-B.

I Paid $250 for it 40 hours ago, Works perfectly. I ran it from a USB port, on my panel. Very nice USB cord, and manual included. I will take $150.00 for it and pay shipping. Continental USA only.
Obviously, to gain FAA approval, this modification was thoroughly tested and functions perfectly and reliably (works great on my iFly 740!). I have for sale a perfectly-functioning, FAA-compliant ADS600-EXP "IN" receiver complete with a "puck" type GPS antenna (works great on the glareshield of my 750 STOL). All you would need to complete an installation would be a DB-9 plug wired for power and ground and an inexpensive (~$25) mono-pole antenna and an antenna cable with a SMA connector on one end and a BNC on the other.

For sale $110, shipping included. By the time you purchase the necessary antenna and cable, this should still cost less than a Stratux and can be remotely mounted to avoid cockpit clutter. This would be perfect for someone wanting a low-cost ADS-B receiver!
