SOLD! When I bought my used 701 it came with bubble doors. The builder didn't like the way the originals fit, so he bought another pair. He installed the left door and realized that didn't fit any better than the first one. Zenith doors are known to not fit very good. I put bulb seals, foam seals, adhesive and duct tape to get a decent enough seal to keep the wind from coming through.

The builder gave up on replacing the doors and retained the originals. The left door has rivet holes where the hinge went and is trimmed down. As you can see in the picture the protective film is still installed with masking tape. I tried taking it off but it is stuck on pretty good in some places after about 5 years of sitting in the shipping crate. Other spots it peels off pretty easy.

The right side door is untrimmed. but was masked and painted.

As far as I can tell they are like new, been stored in the original shipping crate all this time. Inspection sticker says January 23, 2015 (coincidentally, exactly 7 years later I decide to sell them)

New ones are $600. I'm asking $250 plus shipping.
I originally ordered the CH 701 rudder kit to build with my grandkids over Christmas break. After talking with fellow EAA 578 members they convinced me to build a CH 750 instead. I ordered the plans, manual and drawings for the CH 750 from Joyce at Zenith.

My question is: does the CH 750 use a different rudder horn than the CH 701?

Life circumstances have changed. Selling my 701 kit. Just no time to finish. 1 wing and empennage complete. Other wing partially completed. Just needs riveting. UL engine, propeller and FWF included. Engine still in original crate. I purchased the entire kit as a taildragger but fuselage never started so parts could be purchased to make as Tri gear. Never registered so could be registered in purchasers name. $30,000 firm. Purchaser picks up in Palestine Texas.
