I am finding some conflicting pictures of the throttle rod and linkages: in the "homebuilt help" video, the assembly is on the engine side - but in the (Jabiru-provided) zenair installation manual, it is inside the cockpit... (see attached pix)

Is the cockpit installation an option? Or is it the new, recommended position? Or ...?

Thanks in advance for your comments

Pictures...

Since I have dual sticks, I mounted my throttle on the center console with the cable passing through the firewall directly to the carb.  This eliminates the intermediate linkages and either seat occupant has access to the throttle.

(This is an older picture and I've changed a few things on the console, but the throttle location remains the same.)

John, thanks for the input - but I have already committed to centre stick.

Hello,

I did a single throttle setup like Cessna. I also have the Jabiru 3300. I also fly the dual stick instead of the center y-stick as many do.

If I were to do the center Y stick I would then do the setup with the a throttle on both sides.

If you want some images I’ll be glad to send some.

Richard, thanks for the offer, but I am following the centre stick plans. I just need to figure what is the recommended approach for the assembly.
