HI,

       First, I would like to say thank you VERY much to all who were kind enough to take the time to write regarding my A-65 situation.  After giving it a lot more thought, I think at this point that it is maybe not the way to go.  The main deciding factor is that after completion of the 701 and it is flying, I would like to build a set of floats for it. I don't believe this would be a good thing for the little 65 hp engine.  I am going to look for something in the 100 hp range. Again guys, thanks.    Henry

Not to beat a dead horse, since you are inclined to use a bigger engine, but Harpreet Walia just posted a video on the Zenith Aircraft Flyers facebook page of a 701 with an A-65, with comments about its performance.
