This rivet hole in the noserib went awry. I know the construction standards and a place to put in a new rivet to make things compliant.

Just wanting to confirm my work in the judgement of public opinion, is there anything different you guys would do to correct this hole that's too close to the edge? The dot is marked where my second rivet hole will go and both holes will get an A4 rivet.

It seems like a reasonable spot with good  edge distance.  That said replacing the part would be inexpensive also.  Everyone has a different level of risk tolerance and aversion

You could crimp a piece of L, rivet to the web of the rib with a couple of rivets and then redrill through the same hole to keep things looking the same on the leading edge. I have always got good feedback from Caleb or Roger at Zenith and Michael at Zenair when I was not sure about something. That is where I would get my final word from.
