SOLD! SkyRadar ADSB UAT Receiver for iFly 720 or 740 Aviation GPS

Selling a SkyRadar ADSB UAT receiver. It comes with two power cables - one for a 12v accessory socket and a pigtail for hard-wiring into the airplane. Also comes with a RG400 antenna cable extension so the receiver can be remotely mounted under the glareshield with only the antenna above the glareshield (works great in a 750 when zip-tied to a windshield brace!). The antenna can also be directly attached to the ADSB if you want to keep it portable and set it on your glareshield. Also includes a GPS with cable for remote mounting if a GPS source is needed for your application.

 It worked flawlessly for me, displaying FREE (no subscriptions!) Nexrad and weather (TAF, METARS, etc) on my iFly 720 and later, iFly 740. It will also display traffic IF the ground station is "pinged" by a nearby aircraft that has ADSB-out.

The unit is guaranteed to work, but it's up to you to determine if you have an appropriate device and application to display the data on! Only reason I'm selling is that I'm upgrading to a NavWorx ADS600-EXP with ADSB-out.

This item immediately sold on Ebay, but the buyer discovered it was not compatible with his device and I allowed him to return it. So, it's back up on Ebay again and the listing is located here.

Important note! This is an older SkyRadar Model "L."  It works perfectly with the iFly 720 and 740 Aviation GPS, but is not compatible with the older iFly 700. Contrary to claims by SkyRadar and Adventure Pilot (iFly), it is not compatible with the iPhone, iPad, or Android tablets or phones. I've been told, but have not verified, that it can be sent back to SkyRadar for a firmware upgrade to make it compatible with the iPhone, iPad and Android devices, but it will then not be compatible with the iFly 720 or 740.
