STOL 750 w/Rotax 912ULS mounts
Whats the benefit of the ring mount over the bed mount? Zenith says...
"Zenair does NOT offer a FWF Package for a "Ring-Mount" system for the Rotax 912UL/ULS in the CH 650/750. The engine mount for the Rotax 914 and 912iS (designed for a ring-mount system) can be purchased separately, but components (cowling, muffler, etc.) from the 912UL/ULS FWF Pkg. will NOT be compatible."
So who has used the ring mount on a 750 and what fit / didn't fit and how much additional work / cost was involved...and was it worth it?

I used a 912 with ring mount on my Cruzer with no problems engine mount came with the kit, I just ordered the rubber bushes separately. Muffler and other bits again no problems.

Hey Darren... So used a 912ULS with a ring mount in your cruiser? Did you order the standard Zenith FWF kit and just tell them you have a ring mount? Everything else in the kit fit? I'm reading that the exhaust, cowling and etc from the FWF kit wont fit with the ring mount. Thanks!
