I am near to making a decision to part out N601GE.  Information on it may be found at http://eaa1265.org/N601GE.html.  I have lost access to a second hangar and trying to keep and maintain both planes in one hangar is not pleasant.  Please note decision is not final but probably will be made by end of year or shortly thereafter.  N601GE has been for sale for about a year and although there has been much interest, it seems cost of insurance and the required dual with a well qualified instructor has been nearly insurmountable. Please do not ask about availability of parts until you have read the above web site.

Such a cool aircraft! Hard to understand why you would have trouble selling it! Especially at that price. I've spent $20K more than your asking price building mine. It would be a shame to have to part it out but if you're left with no other option I can understand it.

hi joe sorry to hear about selling ..do you want to part with wheel pants  or adsb system   thx  joe in fl

Hi Joe,

Have not decided about parting out.  A previous person with interest has now shown interest again if I repair and another has shown interest in buying as is.  If I do part out you get first dibs on the items you are interested in.

Happy New Year!

Joe in LA

I'd be interested in the horizontal stabilizer fairing.

Joe, I'm interested in your tail feather streamlining - not to purchase since Patrick is interested, but how you built it and implemented its operation. Do you have any specs on performance differentials?

I did not build it.  I believe the original concept came from an American Yankee. I do not have performance differences.  It does look good and it stiffens the horiz stab.  It is fiber glass.  I have another set to put on my other plane and do intend to document performance change.

Hi Joe, I would be interested in the interior if you do part it out.

Ok.  I hope to make decision on or shortly after Jan 17th.

hi joe any thing on the parting out the plane???

Sold in one piece!

N601GE has been sold!

Joe

I am planning to use aileron push pull tubes on a CH650 with a Robertson STOL Cherokee style mod.

Are you willing to share your experience with push pull tubes,
