Hi Tim,

My name is Jeff Roberts and it seems your flying buddy owne's the Europa I built. ;-). He gave me your contact. Id like to ask you about the corvair mother you took out and why you went to the 912? Also how satisfied you are with it. I'm now building a Cruzer and am starting to think about Power.

Thanks,

Jeff Roberts

Thanks so much for the heads up on the binding of the rod ends. My rudder was stiff because the nylon block wasnt exactly 90 degrees, had to bend the thick aluminum piece that holds the nylon block on and no more binding, also the steel bungee is in now. Your plane is looking great, hope you are on all kinds of back country adventures.  I wish I could make a video like my student did, kids now a days are amazing.  He arranged a field trip to Virgin Galatic at Mojave spaceport and SpaceX in Hawthorne was fantastic.  He is President of Glendale College Space and Aviation Club and just got Rod Machado to speak at a meeting and got his pilot license at 17 before his drivers license. Amazing kid.

Best Chris

Hey... just because your plane is finished and you are now flying it, doesn't mean you get to stop posting here! How about some updates, photos, video, your smiling face flying your flying machine! :-D - Bryan

Your 750 does look "great". I now have the complete tail parts built and stored away, fire wall is done and fuselage is now about 75% complete. Flaperons are compete and I have all the parts built to assemble the wings. The cowling is my next big effort and I do want to purchase this to cover my Corvair engine.

Again your Zenith 750 is Outstanding.  Hope to see you at a Zenith open house.

Merry Christmas

Yeah, I will probably apply epoxy primer and paint on all the steel parts

Hi Tim,  I have all the parts out of the box now..Just curious, is it considered ok to powdercoat the steel cabin  structure? If so will the coating hold up to drilling? I know something will have to done to protect the bare steel...thanks, Tom

Thank you for allowing me the pleasure to see your airplane up close.  The pictures don't do it justice.  I was most impressed with your FWF setup.  That cowling is amazing!

Tim I have 23hrs on the 750 now and really like the corvair engine. It tops out at 100mph and climb is 700 too 900 feet per min. I find it hard to believe the Zenith numbers with o200 because others with that engine get nowhere near Zenith's numbers. The Corvair is super smooth, a lot smoother than the PA-11 c90 and the Remos Rotax I fly.

Tim, looking at your photo... you're going to need to re-think your prop plans. I hope the rest of your build is laid out better. Rmember measure twice.... ;-)

Tim,
Saw were you email us on our regular email. I check on this site and could not find where you emailed us, hope you can figure out how to use this site better than us. We found out the hard way the first picture you post and will be last and the last picture we post if first, so keep that in mind when you post picture. Or we could be doing it wrong.
Good luck on starting your 750, wish this kit would have been out when we bought our 601xl. Tom and Julie
