I have a CH 701 kit as well.  Not built yet.  I'm very interested in your at-altitude performance with the Rotax 914.  From a page at zenithair.net for your plane, it stated your weight for test flights was about 850 lbs.   I interpret this to be single-seat flights.  I'm interested with flight performance with two people on-board and near full fuel.  How significant was the reduction in max altitude with two people?

    I live in Billings Mt. I am building a 701 with a 914 and I am hoping that you could give me insight on how this is done.

i am using the ring mount and it appears that the same ring mount is used on both engines therefore that should be the same however the oil cooler looks like it needs to be relocated, did you use the zenith cowling etc. feel free to contact me at my email address tloomis@live.com
