We changed our original stick into a Dual Control Stick.

Problem:
Could someone tell me if it is normal that the Dual Control Stick is not very easy to move around.

Hoping for much respons.

Hi Freddy,

I have a CH701 with dual stick option. It shouldn't be that hard to move around BUT the setup has to be done

properly since rods and endbearings are involved. On the CH701, the dual stick isn't exactly like on the XL but

I don't see it being that much more difficult to move. It it somewhat harder but to some extent, should not be

a problem.

Tuning, more tuning I guess !

Good luck.

Hi Freddy

When installing the dual sticks I missed two of the small bushings that go on the rod end bolts as spacers this caused some binding. When I corrected this sticks moved very smooth. Hope this helps
Hi Harry
I am a new owner of ch701 and thinking of replacing the standard stick with dual controls. What sort of drama are we looking at and the cost. Your help will be appreciated.
Cheers

Hello Shafid
My aircraft is a 601xl. I installed the dual controls as we assembled a quick build kit. The installation was not difficult, I can't speak for the 701. It all depends on how determined you are.
we have duels and they move very easily...maybe too easily for the elevator.
