Would like to see some pictures and what's involved in upgrading to a 113 hp?

You would see very little in a photo. More RPMs is simply more power at the same torque.

Example C-90 vs Cessna O-200 at 100 hp. Simple engine physics,

If you are willing to buy higher octane fuel you can up the compression but it would cost new pistons.

Easiest is a bit more spark advance and a prop that will allow more rpm. Not allowed if certified.

I have the engine repair manuals and it appears that you could pull and regrind the cam shaft with out splitting the cases. More lift and duration= more power.

Wikipedia list the different options that were available new.

A bit more on engine physics. The link below will take you to Jabiru 3300.

More compression = 100 LL

Less weight.

A single Bing 40mm carb. ( a older 1200 cc BMW motor bike has 2- Bing 40mms.)

Some of the weight is saved in case bolts. 1 in 10 3300s were falling out of the air in Australia from stretching bolts. If you don't fly they tend to hold up well?

I have pictures of my actual engine on my phone that I could send by text.
