Hi, I am ready to assemble my o200 and I am having trouble finding a source that explains what bolt's and nut's needed. I have downloaded the Overhaul Manual and it has a lot of info but I can't find a reference to the hardware.

For example, what size bolt's and nut's are used to assemble the case?

It would be great if someone could point me in the right direction, thank's!

continental parts manual O-200 engine

Thank you Chris, I went to the website and also called them on the phone and was told that they no longer offer manuals and such any more. So the search continues lol.

Also I have used Aircraft Specialties in Ok.  Call their parts dept.  They are really knowledgeable.  I have done a couple small cont engines..

good luck K.C.

Register on the the tcm website.
Access to the parts manual is available there for free.
There are also printed manuals on eBay.

Thank you David, I went to the Continental website and tried to create an account and they are down for some type of maintenance. I called them directly and I was told that they now longer provide manual's. I think Kay is right, Aircraft Speciallities may be my best shot. I downed a manual some time ago and it has a lot of info but I can't find the hardware info. I will check Ebay too, thank you.

go to the link I gave you, select an O-200A (or whatever you have) pick a model ((installed version, usually differs in accessories)) from there you get exploded views and lists etc. I use this when needing continental parts, and I just saw it work! so website is up, they do have a division selling manual reprints but costly. I spent $235 on O200D pubs, only to find them on CD with new engine!!

Hi Chris, I must be doing something wrong. It won't work. I am running Window's 10, maybe it's my problem. I'll keep trying :)

Check you Messages. Continental recently moved all their manuals and stuff over to www.aviationhub.aero.  You might be able to google and get a copy but check your messages Steven. I sent you a link that might help.

Hi Rodney, thank for the help! I don't have a message from you yet. I'll keep checking.

I have put together 4 or 5 small Experimental Continentals in the last 15 years. One O200/90 recently that's on my Ch701. I have sources for new & used parts you may be interested in. One source sells a new nuts & bolts kit for the case. Have sources for redoing aviation cases, cams, cranks, lifters & cylinders.

I am not in the business, just a builder. It would be best if you called me.

Available after 5PM today & after 9AM tomorrow Central Time Zone.

Thank's for all the help, I recon I have what I need.
