Corvair prooving to be too heavy or ???

Hi Bryan

The corvair is a good engine and has served it's purpose thus far and while workable it's not the best fit for my 750.  It was an economical way for me to get into air at a time when resources were more limited.  Now things have changed and I wish to maximize the stol capabilities of my 750.

To be honest my corvair was the 2700 and I really hadn't taken advantage of all weight saving measures possible so there was less weight and more power to be had from it than I was taking advantage of.  If I were building a 601 I would still consider the corvair to power it.
