Using the Forums

I don't suppose there is any way to customize the subject line on emails sent from the forum, is there?

Right now, the subject is formatted: Curtis Eggen started a new discussion "Using the Forums"...

If the subject was formatted: "Using the Forums", a new discussion started by Curtis Eggen... 

then a simple sort of my forum folder by subject would list all the emails, by subject, in date order, and would also indicate whether I've read it or not. In other words, allowing me to easily follow threads, tag important postings for future reference, etc. Things that I can't seem to do with Ning.

Any words of wisdom to make this forum a little more useful/usable?

As Moderator, I have some limited editing, deleting, etc., ability, but I am not the "Webmaster" that designs and implements the actual structure of the forums. Sebastien at Zenith is my contact person, but apparently it is very difficult to get suggestions implemented as little has changed despite all sorts of requests! I would suggest you contact him with your suggestion.
