I need to terminate my throttle cable at the carburetor.  I am thinking of using the end fitting shown below.  I am a little concerned that this might not be a "positive enough" termination.  Any advice/alternate ideas would be appreciated.  Carb is an Ellison EFS-3A and has a 1/4" ball end on the direct push-pull slider - not a rotating part like butterfly throttles.

Hi Brian,

I am also trying to figure out my throttle linkage... but I am using a Stromberg carb on a HDS gravity flow model.  Sorry I'm not any help.  Maybe someone here has some expertise in hooking up aircraft carbs.  I would rather not deviate from the standard method myself.
