Hi John,

Was considering an 0-235 as an option because a guy at work has one for sale I was just wondering if you have weighed the engine at all.

Jake

Jacob,

Thanks for the inquiry.

I haven't weighed the engine and prop installation as it sits mounted now.

The Lycoming Operators Manual, on page 2-6 states the (Standard Engine-Average Weight is 240#.

With the Skytec Starter, Bosch Alternator and Wood  Culver Prop( 9#) , I'm thinking we're in the same ballpark.

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks,

John

What aircraft is in your JPEg pictures?

Ken,

It's a Protec PT-2A.

John

Thanks. I'll call you soon.
