I have been to the Dynon forum site for connection info of the 2000C to the D100 and it says "Hook the TX line from the data cable to pin 22 on the EFIS or pin 3 on the serial update port.  Connect the ground of the data cable to aircraft ground, or any ground on the EFIS."

This assumes you have NMEA/DGPS Adapter Cable (NDC-2) from the 2000C.  That cable has 4 wires out 1. White (transmit) to EFIS (yellow/green), 2. Red (power), 3. Black (Ground), and finally

4. Green (receive)   ??????  Green to what on EFIS?  Receive what?

Anybody know?

Thanks,

Mike

This is a guess, but I would imagine that the "receive" wire is unconnected. It sounds to me like the Lowrance can accept DGPS signals from a DGPS beacon through that line, thats what my old Garmin does. I can't find much about Lowrances implementation of NMEA protocols in its manual. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply...

Mike

The dynon only needs the transmit line from your GPS.  The dynon doesn't send any information to your GPS so the receive wire on your GPS can remain unconnected.

Thanks Ken...about what I thought...

Have you found a source for the airmap database updates? Last I heard, LEI was no longer getting or offering the Jeppeson database.

LEI suggested I go to Jeppeson.  Will do that next, haven't had time right now...wiring the panel.
