No. However, if you do the upgrades you should document your work, take fotos, and redo your weight & balance. Then you must fly off some test flight time (usually about five hours). This you should do at your orginal test flight area of 25nms. If there is any doubt in your mind check with the FSDO POC that first inspected your a/c. But they do not want to get involved with another inspection, they like to be informed about changes like upgrades and major mods... Good Luck

Not if you have an Airworthiness Certificate and you are the Manufacturer, otherwise you will need an A&P to sign you off, I believe.
I don't have an Airworthiness and the FAA will not issue one without the Upgrade installed.
