Oil seal started as a slight droplet a couple of weeks ago. Now starting to wet the top cowling. Time to order a new seal.

Loren,

The engine has 137 hours on it, didn't get fired up until 4 years post manufacture (2011) and is one of the early engines, etc.  So, just need to keep plugging away with it as the issues present themselves. 

"...I'm glad you're on top of thing to prevent outright failure" -  I guess that still remains to be seen!!
