Went to the 2017 International Seaplane Fly-In at Greenville, Maine. Found these floats currently awaiting $$ for renovation. Rather impressive!

Sun-n-Fun 2003.  There was an article in Sport Aviation around this time about this aircraft.

The airplane is still on the airfield awaiting it's time to be put  back on the floats.  I think it will serve only as a display piece on the field from what I've heard.  Would be interesting to know how they did pump them out back in the day!

I attended the seaplane fly-in several years ago and saw the D.C.-3 land on Mooseheadcampground lake with those floats.

Probably would need something like this to pump them out!
