Ran into a minor setback...ran out of paint and will have to wait until tomorrow to get more. Got two coats (barely) out of one quart of base paint for pieces shown-struts, flaperons, slats and stab Sooo...I will have to scuff, wipe and tack (AGAIN) before painting final coat. Tedious, extra work for no good reason other than not knowing how much paint it takes to paint an airplane! Looking like 1 1/4 gal of primer, and 2 1/4 of base colors overall. Would have loved to finish this today, but guess the dog gets a bath instead!
