I hear you on the weight, I'm pushing it as it is, but I got a buddy with a paint shop who's doing the painting for free (well, will probably cost me beer) so I can't say no, but the paint ain't cheap either!!!  I did weight it first though and will do it again after I paint.  Then I'll know exactly how much paint adds... Just ordered a light weight starter too, another bill to hide from the wife... LOL!  Did you do a W&B yet? Curious to see how much the 290 weights on the nose!

I am painting all the fiberglass aluminum. Can't afford the weight and brain damage
