Fascinating video.  Thank you so much for sharing Ben!  Very in depth look at your airplane and especially the auto conversion, and darn it sounds good in that fly-by below!

Thanks Kenneth. It is an experimental and I try my best to get things perfect. It could run another 50 years with no problems or fail on the next flight and do me in.... Hence the word " EXPERIMENTAL'.
Sorry Jack . I didn't see your question till just now so sorry for the delay. I started with a 84" diameter prop but quickly had Ivo cut it down to 78" before it could try to roll the plane inverted again.

Excellent walk-through, Ben. I appreciate you sharing your thought process on the engine build up.

Hi, sorry but we cannot get the video to work on our connection - any chance of posting a picture of your 'gear widening without hacking at the gear' blocks?

Thanks for the comments. The truth is this was the very first time I have ever picked up a video camera, I even tried to add the audio later using the computer editing program but couldn't figure out how to dub it in so I just let it run and set the mic in an open condition and talked.... That explains the poor narration. I will do better next time. There is an video of my plane on a low pass,,, video is shaky but the sound of the V-8 is pretty darn kool !!!! Turn up the volume ...

Ben,

Thanks for the nice video. May be I can rework my (701-Rotax618) radiator as your 801 example. Right now it's just hung out in the open behind the nose wheel, with some protection from gravel only when the nose wheel pant is on.
