I tried to tell you to leave the throttle wide open and regulate power with the propeller.  Trying to do it any other way turns into a mess where you don't know what you have.  :)

Thanks Jan for the comparison of the DUC prop and the Whirlwind. It brings to light why I was not sold on the in-flight adjustable DUC. I was comparing the two props at the same engine rpms. I think I would come out with a different decision if I would have had this data going into the test.
