Pacific Ocean on my right.... Now if I could extend those tanks by let's see, 7500 miles..... say 1,500 litres, I could make it easy :)

Very rough reckoning you'd need to tank around 750 ltrs for the longest leg, although a simple 50knot headwind would mess your plan up :(    Whenever I do those kind of calcs I can't help feeling how amazingly exciting and risk filled it was for the pioneers. I always spare a quick thought with my first G&T when flying long-haul for those trail-blazers that made it, and more important those unlucky souls that didn't..

I'll meet you half way with fuel…..  Daughter just returned from Melbourne yesterday and she's complaining how cold it is in California……  at 60f….
