Congratulations Patrick!!! Only someone who has flown an airplane that they have built with their own hands can understand the phenominal feeling of accomplishment and joy that comes with finally achieving that long awaited goal of flying the product of their own labor. May you have many years of safe enjoyment flying your bird.
P.S. The landing wasn't all that bad, nothing got bent and you can still use the airplane!
