We started off with the slat fences in place. I am not sure of the performance gain due to all the other differences from a stock 701. In my mind it cant hurt performance. You would have to make the slat long enough to trim it to the shape of the wing and then make an angled end rib to attach to.
Thanks
Scott

Scott, do you have performance numbers for before/after the slat fences? How did yo instal the fences, did you install extra ribs at the ends for the fences to attach to? That is one cool machine that you have!

The plane is most efficient at 85 mph stall is vary benign the average fuel burn is around 12 gph but we get allot of smiles per gallon. Fuel burn goes way down with altitude but if the winds at 12000ft are not favorable you might be going backwards. Planning on going to Oshkosh this year, that trip will give a good average.

Scott, are those "fences" on the outboard end of the slats?

Scott, could you share some performance numbers for your beautiful aircraft?

The turbine is a garret jfs100-13 The nose gear strut has a telescoping fairing that incorporates two led landing lights

Who mfg the turbine? what is the fairing around the nose wheel. I am building a 750 and would like to smooth out some of the big drag items. The bird looks great!!
