We live on the East Coast and 95% of the flights will be from paved runways near sea level.  We've intentionally kept the plane simple (and light) so we feel like an 0-320 will work great.

Thanks for the info!

When I finished my 801, Jim Frisby had just finished his. I had an O-360, He had a O-320. I could get out just a little shorter. His cruise was a couple MPH slower. We could both get into the same spots. My rate of climb was a little more than his. I can get my 801 out of a lot shorter strip than I can get it into. I think an O320 would work just fine. I hope this helps.
