Interesting test. I would have thought that VG's that far forward would not have much effect past the wing center of pressure. I don't have the Texas heat beating down on me like you do, but I feel my eyeball vents coming from the NACA scoops are very effective at blasting me with air. My only problem is being able to reach the passenger side vent with my 5-point harness is a challenge when I am alone. Sometimes it blasts me with too much air so I try to estimate a good angle and opening pre-flight and hope I don't need to touch it.
Keep up the good work. We learn on the shoulders of others.
