Hi Bob, Thanks for the comment, my engine was manufactured before the date that the recall applies to so I think that isn't the issue here. I think there's some dirt or other matter obstructing the valve, maybe caused by leaving the plane idle for 5 weeks while my airport was closed, maybe some gas went bad in there.

The odd thing is that Friday after carb sync the engine was purring like a kitten at all speeds, sat at idle just great, no fuel overflowing. Then Saturday when I want to do some tests, the vibration was back and the overflow overflowing. It is like something settled once the engine was cold....

There was a carb float recall on the engines. Exposure to gas over time caused them to sink. That would cause your over flow issue.
