Tried a Sensinich 71/38 not to good. Set the warp drive to 11<br /> Got 2750 redline at 300 ft<br /> Empty wt 950 with floats 875 wheels 0200 is heavy

Interesting. I have 14.6 lbs of lead right in the tail behind the rear bulkhead. That gave me an empty CG of 278 mm. With me on board and fuel it's 370 mm, so it's good. I might carry some weight in baggage compartment when I'm by myself to make it more aft. I can put pretty much any weight in the envelope up to gross and not get out of balance. I'll have to see how it performs on wheels before I put floats on it. I may have to re-think amphibs and go for straight floats if the weight gets too insane... Damn Lycosaur engines... :( But others that have them in says they fly great. Guess I'll see!

I had to add 15 pounds near the tail to move CG aft with the floats
If it is too far forward it makes the nose heavy during flare. I played around and found rear CG had the softest landings. Not surprising but be careful

Should make my O-235 test flight interesting in a few weeks... 905 lbs on wheels!!! Got 115 hp though, should help a bit...
