Lacquer thinner works for sharpies and printing on aluminum,PAINT thinner works for stickers.no scraping.just wipe some on sticker with a rag,let set for a min.or so,then they peel right off!then wipe remaining residue.happy building!

Thanks everyone. Been using Lacquer Thinner. Seems like it evaporates too fast to "eat" into it quickly. The plastic scraper works well. Then you have to be careful not to smear the glue residue everywhere on the part. All done. Just sayin.... ;-) Otherwise... Building this kit is FUN!

Lacquer thinner works great and you can make notes and marks as needed with a sharpie and then take it off with the lacquer thinner right on the aluminum

put some paint thinners on the stickers with a small paint brush, give it a minute and they then nearly fall off...
