awesome! i think I'll leave mine at 5235 for first flight and then test varying pitches afterwards as I had to adjust three times to get it at 5235, only takes about 30-45 minutes with safety wiring and all.  First try blew the BBQ over and into pieces!

hi,warp drive 3 blade before.i wanted more out of the hole performance, which i got with the whirlwind.static,im at 5200 rpm.5400 rpm at takeoff and can reach 5800 at cruise.took me 2 days and a dozen re-pitches to get to this point.my takeoff performance is unbelievable! at 5050 msl(with high density alt.7500+) im gettin off the ground in 50 ft! now i need to cleanup the airframe a little to get more cruise.have vg's on wing already, gonna remove slats next.and strut fairings from zenith.that should do the trick..

what prop did you have before and what did you have it pitched at? Did you try different pitches on the old prop and what were the results. Is the takeoff rpm different from the static rpm. I've set my warp drive to get 5235 static rpm, is this too low? Have not had first flight yet,but close!

Speak to Jim maybe you need to have them cut the prop back to 73 inch as mentioned before 75inch is a big big prop, tip speed on 75inch must be near to critical. I am going with the 70inch WW prop.
