In practice, the flying characteristics did not change at all. Of course, floats will have an impact on the performance figures and may also affect the stall characteristics (in my case it did not). Cruise speed was reduced approximately 5mph, weight balance is actually better with floats.
The plane flies very well, in my opinion! But this may not apply to other planes and installations.
I have CZAW 1150S floats.

I'd really like to know how your performance changes when you add the floats. I'm thinking of putting an 801 on floats. Which ones will you use?
