Can anybody confirm or deny the rumor that Zenith might be unveiling a new product this year at Oshkosh?

Even built as a conventional wing aircraft the empty weight should not change much. Low weight = great performance. Even this version of the CH750 would fly easily out of most grass / off field air strips.

I've been poking at ZAC for a conventional high wing. Avid used to offer a speedwing and heavy hauler wing. The 750 with a wing option would be sweet. I would assume that the tail would also be conventional. 100 KIAS, 115 mph, that's an LSA. We could get lucky, there isn't a better low wing or STOL, all that's missing is a nice conventional high wing :-)

You know I think Jake "just hit the nail on the head". A "non-stol" version conventional wing CH750.

I like Jake's idea. It could more directly compete with the Cessna LSA that's assembled in China.

Would be nice to see a 750 with a conventional wing and near XL/650 performance. I don't need to take off in 100', that wastes the last 5,100' of runway :-)

ROFL.... think about it folks ;>)  The CH801 already covers that performance / capacity need. Zenith could CNC match hole drill the CH801 kit so its simpler, and faster to build. The float kits could also be converted to CNC match hole manufacturing for the same reason.... the pre-drilled kit covers this need but the labour costs would be reduced with a higher end quality product the result in both the CH801 and float kits. "Canadian Humour" indeed !

I think that is some Canadian humor coming through.

Is Bob pulling your leg or not?

Bob, serious? Honestly, I haven't heard any details, just rumors that something new is coming. How did you hear about the CH754? Where can I find out more about it?
