Just wondering if anyone has ever tried using a belly board instead of the flaperons?

Rust on Clecos

Just purchased 50 1/8” Clecos that were advertised as new old stock. Well most of them have rust on them. Not too bad but I am wondering if they are ok to use? Or if I clean them with a liquid…Continue

L angle

Ok, plans call for rear fuselage L channel to be 20mmx20mm, by my calculations 20mm comes out to be .78 inches(rounded off) so the question is can I use 3/4” (.75) or do I step up to 1”?

Thanks for all the replies. I will definitely purchase the air riveter from Zenith with the special heads. For the money it’s a no brain-er

Let the dream begin!

Posted on May 22, 2016 at 6:34am 1 Comment

Just received my 701 plans and manual.
Due to funds, and the fact that my wife's horses eat most of them, my plan is to scratch build as much as possible.
So, if anyone has any leftovers like rivets, clecos or anything for a 701 that they can sell please let me know. I'll either be in the shop looking at plans and scratching my head, or, in the barn shoveling horse byproducts.
