Ed, now that summer is upon us, has your project slowed? Mine certainly has. I have the Horizontal stabilizer on and put the rudder on last week. I am working on the nose gear now so that I can soon get it off the work bench. Where in Saint Paul are you located? I am usually at my Sons house in Andover on Mondays. If you had time I would love to see your progress. Larry
I have run wire out to the attachment point for the future landing light in the Slat. I think they are working on one but I think it is quite spendy. I havent decided what to do with that yet. I saw a 701 that had them in the wing root but they didnt look to good to me. Have you thought about a engine option yet?
Ed, Thanks for your reply. I am glad to see that I am not the only one that has building problems. It sometimes seems that it takes me much longer to complete things than some of our peers. I saw someone was flying at around 650 Hours. I have 500+ in mine and I feel that I am not half done yet. Have a happy Easter, And thanks for the phone number. You can call me as well. 320-230-3100. Larry
Hi Ed, You are probably just ahead of me in the building process. I am working on the forward fuselage as well, but I see your posting was in Jan, so you are probably sitting on the gear by now. I live in St Cloud, so we are neighbors. Larry
