I would start by setting pitch at the minimum recommended by the propeller manufacturer for the engine to achieve a static RPM of X,XXX then test fly and adjust from there. Remember the better your cruise performance the lower your takeoff and climb performance, and your 701 is so draggy there’s a point where you just won’t be able to cruise any faster regardless of adding another hundred rpm.</p>
