Thanks Mark. I'm looking at the RV-12 because of the ease of removal and no fuel to deal with. Maybe the engineers at Zenith can develop a more efficient way to remove the wings with stronger attach points so they can sell the plane to poor guys like me. Can't afford the cost of storage on airports where I live.

It's not hard but not fun either. I'd be worried of eventually damaging the aluminum attach points. I was going to remove them annually but now decided against it. Folding wing option is an idea but the Zen folding wing option leaves much to be desired... Good for on site storage but trailering it would be a bad idea.
