<p>You are correct about "These mods probably don't add speed or short field capability". Its as classic an argument as the leading edge slats vs. VG's discussion.</p>
<p>In fact the new CH750 Cruiser is not appreciably faster than the CH750 and loses some of its short field STOL capability. Simply an exercise in marketing.... give the kit builder what they think they want.</p>

The CH750 is faster, more comfortable and quieter to fly... but the CH701 is lighter and better for STOL type flying than the CH750. The CH701 is the kit of choice for anyone planning to fly floats.</p>
