This is a loaded question. Loaded w/ all kinds of issues. Once again it all depends on your setup. My XL w/ the 3300 & 64x51 sen wood prop turns about 2650 static and my roll is 700 to 1000' depending on load, grass & wind. My 64x51 is more of a cruise prop. Sounds like Juan's setup is different.
Most grass strip pilots have a T/O plan. Generally, goes like this. Be off the ground in half the length of the field. Fly in ground affect if you got length enough. Be sure to figure in any obstructions, trees or wires on the other end. Hot air vs. cold air, etc.
The best advice is to do short field practice on a long field. Don't trust other pilots in other XLs. We are not all the same........

hold the brakes till I get 2840 rpm, then let loose. mains let loose at 54 mph, hold wings level till 70 mph, then climb out. roll is only 200 ft.
Juan.
